Giving a glimpse into Tata Motors' next generation of small SUVs, the showstopper from Tata Motors at the 2019 Geneva International Motors Show is the Tata H2X Concept. Continuing the lineage of IMPACT 2.0 design language of making vehicles that look sharper and reflect a more contemporary expression of Tata Motors design language, the Tata H2X Concept, a sub-compact SUV. It is the second vehicle based on the new 'Agile Light Flexible Advanced' (ALFA) Architecture, which comes with a radical new approach to design.
The Tata H2X Concept takes successful design cues from the H5X Concept, and condenses them into a stunning package with class leading space and utility. Outstanding in quality and capturing the essence of the active customer, the H2X Concept's design is dynamic and focused on the outside while providing class leading space and functionality on the inside.
On the exterior, the H2X is muscular but athletic, mirroring the active lifestyle of the customer as well as gets the agile, lightweight characteristics from the ALFA architecture. Additionally, giving it a sporty look, the reflective multi-tone glazing seen on the H2X is inspired by the visors seen on ski helmets and mountain bike goggles, creating a dramatic visual effect.
The interior comes equipped with a wide format infotainment screen that features the latest from Tata Motors' HMI strategy. The 'COANDA' vents on the instrument panel bring a sense of magic to the interiors of the vehicle. The colours, materials, finishes and textures have been carefully designed and selected to match the outdoor nature of the customer.
Packaged with great ability, performance and durability into its design, the Tata H2X Concept is practical, comfortable yet versatile and power packed to drive. It is targeted towards the customer who leads an active lifestyle and is equally comfortable within the city, as he is outside, seeking thrill and excitement at every turn! With all this and more, the Tata H2X Concept will redefine the sub compact SUV for the Indian market and continue to set benchmarks.
