Automobili Lamborghini unveiled the one-off Revuelto Opera Unica during the Lamborghini Esperienza Arte, Shanghai held at U-TANK No.5, Shanghai West Bund. This extraordinary masterpiece, created by Lamborghini Centro Stile and the Ad Personam personalization department, is specially tailored for the Chinese market. This masterpiece epitomizes Lamborghini's innovation and artistic essence through a unique piece of customization, imbuing the super sports car with unparalleled vitality.
"This Revuelto Opera Unica flawlessly integrates speed, power, and artistry. In our relentless pursuit of excellence within both the automotive and artistic realms, this masterpiece elevates Lamborghini's innovative spirit and inherent art to a new paradigm," said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
This exclusive Revuelto's exterior design navigates the cosmos toward the brightest star in the Taurus constellation, embodying Lamborghini's Direzione Cor Tauri strategy towards electrification. In addition to the Revuelto's standard production time the exterior paint effects, symbolizing speed and power, required an additional 480 hours of specialized craftsmanship. The hand-painted livery in Rosso Mars, Arancio Dac and Arancio Apodis combines with a fading effect that transitions from Nero Pegaso to Rosso Efesto, complemented by a Rosso Efesto rear diffuser that enhances the car's dynamism.
The interior invites passengers into a refined Nero Ade cabin, complemented by accents of Rosso Efesto. The details reflect meticulous craftsmanship, requiring 53 extra hours' production time for the inverted stitching and piping that highlight the logo, along with a unicolor leather and Corsatex by Dinamica, all enhanced by precise contrast stitching and piping. Completing the design, the Opera Unica plate is crafted from carbon, incorporating shades of Rosso Efesto, with the inscription elegantly presented in Bianco Monocerus.
"Lamborghini is about innovative Design and unmatched performance and of course about the unlimited possibilities of colors and personalization. With this handcrafted masterpiece of art we are going to foster the outstanding creativity that determines and inspires us at the design center Centro Stile Lamborghini. It showcases in a very unique way the immense power, speed and thrill of the sculpture of the Lamborghini Revuelto" said Mitja Borkert, Design Director of Automobili Lamborghini.
The Lamborghini Ad Personam customization program allows customers to create their own personal Lamborghini, incorporating individuality and unique aesthetics in every detail There are infinite possible combinations, from the colors to the materials. Each element meticulously embodies Lamborghini's stringent quality standards and design excellence.
The Revuelto's themes of power and performance are exemplified throughout the event. In the outdoor area, the art installation titled The Racing of Speed merges a Revuelto racing alongside the Somersault Cloud: a mythical cloud from ancient Chinese culture known for its ability to travel thousands of miles in a single day.
The exhibition also features the Lamborghini Urus SE prominently displayed in the The Speed Deck. Unveiled earlier this year as the brand's first PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) version of its luxury Super SUV, the Urus SE adopts a twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine and an electric powertrain, forming a hybrid system that generates a total power output of 800 CV and a total torque of 950 Nm, enabling outstanding performance with a significant reduction in emissions. The Urus SE is capable of handling various road conditions with a total of 11 driving mode combinations.
Launched in 2023, the Lamborghini Revuelto is the brand's first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High-Performance Electrified Vehicle). It reaches new heights in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture, innovative design, maximum-efficiency aerodynamics, and a new carbon frame concept. The hybrid plug-in integrates a new internal combustion engine with three electric motors and a double-clutch gearbox, delivering an output of 1,015 CV with acceleration from 0-100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds and a top speed of more than 350 km/h.
