Infiniti QX65

The all-new 2027 Infiniti QX65 introduces a bold fastback design to the luxury SUV segment, blending dramatic styling, advanced technologies and rewarding performance. Drawing style inspiration from the iconic FX, QX65 signals the next era of Infiniti with its confident silhouette, crafted interior, functional cargo space and intuitive connectivity features.

"The all-new 2027 Infiniti QX65 accelerates Infiniti into its next era, building on an impressive heritage of standout design language, luxurious client experiences and refined driver performance," said Eric Ledieu, vice president, Infiniti Americas.

Bold, Sporty Design

The 2027 QX65 is a stunning evolution of the brand's Artistry in Motion design language and another genre-defying Infiniti design that breaks conventions of the luxury segment. It has a dramatic arching roofline and wide, sporty stance that creates unapologetic curb appeal.

The roofline draws the eye along a pronounced upper arch toward a crisp rear spoiler. With wheels positioned far to the corners of the vehicle and a wide track enabled by muscular fender shaping, QX65 projects confidence and stability.

"QX65 builds on the nearly four-decade history of Infiniti creativity and shakes up the midsize SUV segment with a passionate, sporty fastback that injects fresh energy into luxury vehicle design," said Alfonso Albaisa, senior vice president for Global Design. "With its arched roofline, dazzling gold-flecked paint and powerfully refined interior, the all-new QX65 entices and rewards drivers who seek to make every day remarkable."

Infiniti QX65's eye-catching design is highlighted by new Sunfire Red paint that features genuine gold-coated glass flecks. This vibrant red paint finish requires three layers of coating to achieve its one-of-a-kind appearance. Shimmering in the light with pops of gold, Sunfire Red communicates the dynamic, thrilling experience promised by QX65. The colour is inspired by a similar, limited-edition Regal Red seen on the iconic Nissan GT-R - another link to the heritage of innovation and performance that underpins the Infiniti brand.

QX65 projects sportiness with a striking, three-dimensional grille inspired by Japan's bamboo forests. This layered effect, complemented by three-dimensional Infiniti emblem and air intakes in the front fascia, signal the vehicle's confident performance. Signature Infiniti digital piano lighting adorns the vehicle's face and emphasizes its width.

The stretched arch profile leads the eye to QX65's elegant and precisely defined bodysides, with a subtle spear above the windows and glass that cleanly tapers down toward the vehicle's rear. 20-inch wheels are standard on LUXE and SPORT grades, with 21-inch wheels on AUTOGRAPH grade.

Infiniti's approach to elevated hospitality includes a unique welcome lighting sequence that greets clients when they unlock QX65. Exterior lighting illuminates in a spirited yet refined sequence, beginning with the Infiniti emblem and continuing through the digital piano key lights at either side of the vehicle's grille. The individual LED elements fade in and out to welcome the client and passengers, culminating with the available Infiniti Light Path, which projects wing-like geometric projections at either side of the vehicle.

From the rear, QX65 makes a bold statement with a three-dimensional, full-width LED tail lamp. It features multiple pronounced vertical elements that were inspired by the vertical fins of aircraft. Its rear wiper is subtly hidden within the rear spoiler, not only giving a cleaner appearance but also contributing to enhanced rear-window visibility and allowing the wiper to clear a greater amount of the window.

AUTOGRAPH Grade

The all-new 2027 Infiniti QX65 AUTOGRAPH projects confidence from every angle. Finished with satin chrome window surround trim and 21-inch machined-finish alloy wheels, AUTOGRAPH is available with two-tone exterior colour options that create a striking visual contrast between the vehicle's sleek upper and its muscular haunches.

Finely crafted details throughout QX65 AUTOGRAPH include open-pore wood-toned accents, a quilted dashboard, aluminum cargo area scuff plates and illuminated front and rear kick plates. Semi-aniline leather seats feature an asymmetrical diagonal quilting pattern inspired by the layered folds of a kimono, complementing soft leather touchpoints throughout the cabin. Massaging front seats complete the sanctuary-like experience in AUTOGRAPH's cabin.

SPORT Grade

The QX65 SPORT grade delivers an abundance of visual distinction. Its front grille has a sportier, more aggressive mesh that imagines a bamboo forest agitated by a windstorm. The exterior accents, including window trim, roof rails, door trim, rear bumper protector and all emblems, are finished in gloss black. The unique 20-inch wheels also give it a more athletic persona. Finished in gloss black with a five-spoke, layered turbine design, the 20-inch wheels have concealed lug nuts and an enlarged Infiniti emblem compared to other grades. In the cabin, QX65 SPORT continues the shadow-like theme with a graphite headliner and gloss black carbonite trim pieces.

Interior: Flexible Space and Cargo Capacity

The 2027 Infiniti QX65's cabin is highly functional, with flexible second-row seating and a generous cargo area that allows drivers to bring along all they need, whether it's luggage for road trips, sports equipment for hobbies or beyond. The second row slides, reclines and folds so drivers can prioritize passenger legroom or cargo space as desired. QX65's luggage area is among the most spacious in its segment, at 1,014 litres behind the second row and 1,917 litres behind the first row. QX65 also showcases the best in the brand's attention to detail and craftsmanship, while paying homage to its Japanese heritage. Available 64-colour ambient lighting - with four pre-defined sets of colours themed by Japanese seasons - allow the driver to personalize the cabin's ambience to their tastes and mood.

Intuitive, Simplified Technology

All grades of the 2027 Infiniti QX65 feature simple yet powerful technology for staying connected, informed and entertained. It features standard dual 12.3-inch displays on all grades - one for the reconfigurable instrument cluster, one for the infotainment system. Standard Google built-in brings Google Maps right to the dashboard for simple, efficient navigation, plus the ability to download many other favorite apps on Google Play. QX65 also features Google Assistant to handle everyday interactions easier with natural-language requests like, "Hey Google, play my road trip playlist," or, "Hey Google, navigate home."

QX65 also has standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™, and four USB-C ports (two front, two rear). The standard wireless charging pad adopts the Qi2 standard, allowing for faster, more consistent charging. The charger has magnets to help keep compatible phones aligned in an optimal position, a fan to reduce heat during charging and a faster maximum charging speed of up to 15 watts.

Playlists, podcasts and more come to life thanks to two available Klipsch® premium audio systems. One of the first North American. loudspeaker companies, Klipsch brings powerful, detailed and emotional audio to Infiniti vehicles. QX65 SPORT has a 16-speaker Klipsch Premium system with 600 watts of power, an 8-inch TriPower® subwoofer and 1-inch titanium dome tweeters, while QX65 AUTOGRAPH has a 20-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere system with 1,200 watts of power.

AUTOGRAPH grade additionally features Individual Audio, which uses headrest speakers for the driver and front passenger to specifically target music or phone conversations to different occupants. Individual Audio allows the driver to hear only certain audio elements - such as navigation directions, music or phone calls - from their seat. For example, the driver can make a phone call while passengers continue listening to music, or the driver could listen to a favorite playlist and hear map guidance without disturbing those sleeping in the rear seats.

To further enhance sound quality, Infiniti drivers can use the new Personalized Sound app to easily customize audio balance to match their hearing and preferences. Available for download through the in-vehicle Google Play Store, the Infiniti Personalized Sound app guides drivers through a hearing test by playing tones of varying loudness and pitch. Based on the driver's responses, the program creates a custom listening experience tailored to that individual's hearing profile.

Refined Performance

At the heart of the 2027 Infiniti QX65 is a Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) engine delivering 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque. The VC-Turbo was the world's first production variable compression powertrain and was named to Wards 10 Best Engines list upon its introduction in 2018, and has been continually revised and enhanced. In QX65, it has been tuned for responsive, confident acceleration with bold torque delivery. The engine is coupled to a 9-speed automatic transmission with standard paddle shifters. It has been specifically tuned with a sportier, more aggressive shift schedule that makes QX65 feel more eager to accelerate, resulting in decisive off-the-line performance and powerful merging capability.

To make the driving experience more engaging, QX65 features Active Noise Cancellation and Active Sound Enhancement. Similar to noise-cancelling headphones, the technology eliminates undesirable tones while amplifying and exaggerating sportier exhaust harmonics.

Standard Intelligent All-Wheel Drive ensures confident traction in varied road conditions. QX65 is designed around larger wheel sizes with wide, low-profile tires that deliver enhanced grip for greater road feel, steering precision and stability. QX65 has a towing rating of 6,000 pounds when properly equipped.

Driver Assistance and Safety

QX65 offers the reassurance of innovation-backed technologies that support the driver and help bring peace-of-mind to the road. Standard technology includes Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, Lane Departure Prevention, High Beam Assist, rear parking sensors and ProPILOT Assist. Optional features include Smart Rear View Mirror, providing a camera view behind the vehicle, and a 10.8-inch colour head-up display.

QX65 SPORT and AUTOGRAPH add 3D Around View® Monitor, providing a more convenient way to spot obstacles around the vehicle. They also feature Front Wide View, which offers a wide-angle camera view to the front and sides of the vehicle, and Invisible Hood View, which uses advanced image processing to project footage from the vehicle's exterior cameras of what's directly underneath the vehicle onto the in-car displays. AUTOGRAPH with Technology Package upgrades the 3D Around View Monitor to add a spin capability, allowing the driver to swipe on the infotainment display to rotate a virtual viewpoint all around QX65.

QX65 AUTOGRAPH is available with ProPILOT Assist 2.1, which elevates road trips by allowing attentive drivers to take their hands off the wheel in certain freeway driving scenarios. When traveling on compatible freeways, drivers can press a button to have ProPILOT Assist 2.1 handle acceleration, steering and braking - while the driver pays attention and remains ready to take over at any time.
